I use to think lifeguards were so cool!!
Growing up, I remember vividly how cool lifeguards looked, with their sunglasses full of authority, blowing the whistle (hanging on that long ref) at anyone who stepped out of line or would break “pool-rules”.
Your "but" is in the way!!
It’s so easy to point our fingers at all the reasons why we aren’t doing what we are called to do. Why we aren’t where we wished we were. Why our marriage didn’t work. Why we didn’t get the job. But...can I be honest? Are you sure? Your “but” is in the way!!
